DeSoto
DeSoto was founded in 1928 by
Chrysler, to compete GM and Studebaker in the mid-prise class.
It was discontinued after 1961 due to a dramatic drop in sales
in the late 50s.
DeSoto was named after a spanish explorer called Hernando de
Soto, and the Logo was a stylized image of him. |
